PROJECT STATEMENT

The function of the research building is flexible space that will accommodate a
variety of Bay‐related studies. Because individuals, institutions and industries will have various
requirements, the space must be flexible and able to respond to those myriad needs. In addition to the
work space, office and dry lab areas must be accommodated. The public will access this building through
observation space and with a classroom/lab space that will host visiting groups of students and
teachers.
